Sub:     Alamuru and Kothuru Center surroundings – Lack of hygienic environment – Need for better sanitation – Reg.

          I would like to bring to your notice that the surroundings of Alamuru Village and particularly the Kothuru centre are appearing very unhygienic. The roads and streets are unclean with filth and rags scattered everywhere. The dustbins are a few. Even they are also not emptied daily. The drainages are not cleaned regularly. Hence, the dirty water is stagnated. Due to the unhygienic conditions and uncleaned drainages, mosquitoes are increasing and causing deadly diseases like Malaria and Dengue. Even pigs and dogs also increasing due to lack of proper sanitation. The filled dustbins are emitting bad smell all the time causing inconvenience to the people living in the surroundings. Hence, we request you to highlight this problem in your news paper so that the concerned officials will attend to the problems immediately.
